Martin Fenin scored his fourth goal in two games since joining Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday and led a 2-1 victory over Arminia Bielefeld in the Bundesliga.
Ioannis Amanatidis scored in the 37th and Fenin added his 10 minutes later, both on counters, as Frankfurt claimed their third-straight win to climb to seventh in the Bundesliga standings.
Striker Artur Wichniarek pulled Bielefeld within a goal in the 74th minute when Frankfurt's poise disappeared in front of a home crowd of 41,000.
"We just got nervous -- I don't know why either," Frankfurt coach Friedhelm Funkel said. "But this just shows we're not as far along in our development as the fans believe."
Fenin, a 20-year-old Czech forward, was signed by the club during the Bundesliga's winter break and made his debut last week with a three-goal performance in a 3-0 win against Hertha Berlin.
On Friday, he was positioned perfectly to volley Bielefeld keeper Mathias Hain's parry of a long-range attempt by Markus Weissenberger.
Today, log-leaders Bayern Munich face No. 2 Werder Bremen.
