Luis Fabiano's injury-time penalty earned Sevilla a 2-1 win against nine-man Osasuna in the Spanish league on Saturday.
Fabiano converted his league-leading 14th goal at his second attempt from the spot after Xavi Garcia was penalized for a handball in the area. Garcia's second booking came five minutes after Jose Romero Urtasun was sent off for a second yellow card.
Christian Poulsen gave Sevilla the lead in the 55th minute when the Denmark midfielder got his foot up to redirect substitute Ernesto Chevanton's free kick past Ricardo Lopez for his second goal of the season.
Osasuna substitute Enrique Sola beat Poulsen twice from the edge of the area before firing inside the far post in the 69th.
Sevilla snapped a two-game losing streak to move up to seventh in the table with 29 points. Osasuna stayed 14th with 23.
Chevanton was stretchered off in visible distress after hurting his left knee as the game came to a close.
The heated finish saw players and coaching staff from both teams spill on to the field to exchange words.
