The hapless Miami Heat lost a 12th consecutive NBA game on Friday even after leading the Portland Trail Blazers by seven points entering the fourth quarter.
Dwyane Wade scored 37 points, including a team record 20 points in the third quarter and a franchise record 17 consecutive points, but still the Blazers won 98-91.
Portland won for the ninth time after trailing at the start of the final quarter.

The Blazers regained sole possession of first place in the Northwest Division, a half-game ahead of Denver.
The Heat's dozen losses represents its longest losing streak since late 2001. They last won on Dec. 22.
Wizards 111, Knicks 98
In Washington, the home side snapped New York's three-game winning streak.
Antawn Jamison scored 32 points, and Caron Butler added 22 to stretch his made free-throw streak to an NBA season-high 54.
The Knicks haven't won four straight since January 2006.
Washington has won four of its past five games, despite playing without injured All-Star Gilbert Arenas since November.

In Auburn Hills, Michigan, Ron Artest came off the bench to score 18 points, including a key basket late in the game, and lift Sacramento to victory over Detroit.
Artest, suspended 73 games after instigating a Nov. 2004 brawl here, made a 3-pointer with less than four minutes to go to give the Kings a cushion they'd never lose.
The Pistons have lost two of their last three and dropped the season series to the Kings.
Suns 115, Timberwolves 95
In Phoenix, Minnesota was thumped by Phoenix to slump to 15th consecutive road loss.
Steve Nash went 6-for-6 from the field for the Suns and 4-for-4 from the free throw line for 17 points with 13 assists.

In Chicago, Baron Davis matched a career high with 40 points, hitting six 3-pointers, to lead Golden State over Chicago.
Golden State used a strong finish, with Stephen Jackson secoring 12 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter.

In Boston, Paul Pierce scored 14 of his 22 points in the third quarter to trigger Boston's win over Philadelphia.
Ray Allen then scored 10 of his 23 in the fourth as the Celtics pulled away.
Boston's has won consecutive games after dropping three from four.

In New Orleans, the home side won its fourth straight game by defeating Charlotte.
David West scored 28 points in 32 minutes for the Hornets, who shot 60 percent in winning for the 12th time in 14 games to keep pace with Western Conference leader Phoenix.
Jazz 106, Clippers 88
In Salt Lake City, Carlos Boozer had 19 points and 10 rebounds and Utah recovered from a humbling loss to beat Los Angeles.
The Jazz had lost at Denver on Thursday, letting a close game get away in the second half against their division rivals.
The Clippers are 1-30 at the Delta Center.
Raptors 89, Hawks 78
In Toronto, the home side downed Atlanta to record its fifth win in six games.
Chris Bosh had 35 points and nine rebounds, and Anthony Parker scored 18 points for the Raptors.
The Hawks lost back-to-back games for the first time in almost three weeks.

In Memphis, Tennessee, Seattle lost to Memphis and crashed to its ninth straight defeat.
Pau Gasol had 24 points and 12 rebounds, and Mike Miller added 25 points for the Grizzlies, who snapped a five-game skid.
