    NBA: Wizards work a little magic to overcome the Celtics

    Washington rallied from a seven point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat NBA leaders Boston on Saturday.

    Boston, who have now lost two of three, finished with 21 turnovers and had their lowest points total of the year.

    Washington had 20 turnovers and made only two of 18 three-pointers, but led the rebounds 49-30, made 27-of-30 free throws and had the fortitude when it mattered -- in the fourth quarter.

    Antonio Daniels made a three-pointer with 1 minute, 51 seconds remaining to give the Wizards a 75-74 lead and Brendan Haywood forced a turnover at the other end. DeShawn Stevenson drew a foul while attempting a three-pointer as the shot clock was about to expire -- and made all three free throws.

    Pistons 103, Bobcats 100, OT

    In Charlotte, North Carolina, Richard Hamilton hit the go-ahead jump-shot and two clinching free throws in the final 17 seconds to give Central Division leaders Detroit victory over Charlotte.

    Hamilton, who scored 26 points, put the Pistons ahead 101-100 with 16.2 seconds to play. After Emeka Okafor was called for basket interference at the other end, Hamilton hit two free throws with 0.2 seconds left to seal Detroit's win.

    A night after losing in double-overtime, the Bobcats dressed only eight players due to injuries.

    Spurs 105, Timberwolves 88

    In San Antonio, Texas, coach Gregg Popovich notched up his 600th regular-season victory as San Antonio downed NBA strugglers Minnesota.

    Manu Ginobili scored 22 points and Tony Parker had 21 to help San Antonio nip successive losses.

    The Timberwolves, who have the worst record in the NBA with just five wins from 36 games, have dropped 14 straight on the road.

    The Spurs trailed 45-44 at halftime before they took the lead for good with an 11-2 run.

    Suns 122, Bucks 114

    In Phoenix, Arizona, Pacific Division leaders Phoenix brought up their 20th consecutive home win over Milwaukee.

    Steve Nash scored 26 of his season-high 35 points in the second half, a day after missing a game with a stomach illness.

    Andrew Bogut made 14-of-16 shots, all near the basket, for a career-best 29 points to lead the Bucks.

    Jazz 119, Magic 115

    In Salt Lake City, Utah, the Jazz handed Southeast Division leaders Orlando consecutive road losses for the first time this season.

    Deron Williams had 17 points and 11 assists for Utah, who have won three in a row for the first time since early last month.

    The Magic, who lead the NBA with 16 road wins, never led and blew several chances from the foul line in the fourth quarter.

    Pacers 111, Kings 105

    In Sacramento, California, Indiana never trailed against Sacramento while snapping a three-game losing streak.

    Mike Dunleavy scored 23 points to help the Pacers end a seven-game road losing streak.

    Mavericks 95, Clippers 94

    In Los Angeles, Jerry Stackhouse hit a three-pointer as time expired to help Dallas edge out Los Angeles.

    Dallas got 22 points from Dirk Nowitzki and 20 from Jason Terry to notch a seventh straight victory and remain tied with Phoenix for the top position in the Western Conference.

    The Clippers, who lost their fourth straight game despite shooting 52 percent from the field -- the first time in 33 games this season that they finished at 50 percent or better.
