AC Milan continued their early season stumble through Serie A with a disappointing 1-1 draw at home to Parma on Saturday.
Milan were targeting the win that would have hoisted them up to second place behind league leaders Roma and ahead of Inter Milan, Napoli and Juventus -- all of whom played yesterday.
Clarence Seedorf opener the scoring for Carlo Ancelotti's side in the 44th minute, but the curse of the late equalizer struck the European champions once again when Andrea Pisanu leveled in the 73rd minute.
Milan now boast an unenvious three draws from four league games.
It took a late equalizer from Alessandro Nesta last week away to Siena to rescue a point, and the week before Fiorentina claimed a share of the points at the San Siro.
Ancelotti's side remain in sixth position, three points behind Roma who were hoping to maintain their impressive defensive record in yesterday's match of the day against Juventus at the Olympic stadium.
Roma have won all three of their games, scoring seven goals and conceding none so far but that statistic could be tested to the full by the Turin-based side.
