Chelsea sign Alves from Sevilla
Chelsea have agreed a deal worth 36 million euros (US$49 million) to sign Brazilian full-back Daniel Alves from Sevilla, Spanish press reported on Tuesday.
"The London club will pay 32 million euros with another 4 million euros based on results to secure the services of the Brazilian full-back," Marca reported on its Web site.
Rival newspaper AS said: "Chelsea general manager Peter Kenyon and Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido came to an agreement on Tuesday evening and are awaiting the green light from Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich."
