Ken Griffey Jr passed Frank Robinson for sixth place on Major League Baseball's home run list, and Cincinnati pitcher Bobby Livingston went 4-for-4 with an RBI in the Reds' 10-3 victory over the Atlanta Braves on Monday.
Griffey's 24th homer, a three-run shot into the right-field seats at Turner Field, came off Atlanta reliever Oscar Villarreal in the second inning and gave the Reds a 5-0 lead.
With 587 homers, Griffey moved 15 behind Texas' Sammy Sosa for fifth place. Griffey gave Cincinnati a 1-0 lead with an RBI single in the first.

Cincinnati called up Livingston (2-0) from Triple-A Louisville before the game, and the left-hander allowed eight hits, two runs and two walks in five innings. He struck out four. All of Livingston's hits were singles, including the one in the third that made it 6-0. The last Reds pitcher to go 4-for-4 in a game was John Smiley in June 1993.
Atlanta starter Kyle Davies (4-8) failed to record an out and faced just five batters.

At Chicago, Aramis Ramirez lined a go-ahead two-run double off the wall in left with two outs in the eighth inning, and Chicago rallied past slumping San Francisco.
Rich Hill (6-6) won for the first time in more than a month, getting just enough offense in eight innings.

At Washington, Dmitri Young hit a go-ahead, three-run homer and Washington handed Houston its seventh straight road loss.
Washington's lone All-Star last week, Young lifted his batting average to a team-best .339 and his RBI total to a team-best 52. His ninth homer of the season came on a 1-0 pitch from Woody Williams with one out in the sixth inning.

At Miami, Chris Duncan and Adam Kennedy homered for St. Louis and Braden Looper won for the first time in seven starts.
Looper (7-7) pitched six innings, scattering five hits and allowing two runs. His last win came on May 24 against Pittsburgh.

At Milwaukee, Corey Hart and Ryan Braun homered and Dave Bush pitched six strong innings for Milwaukee.

Mike Cameron homered for the Padres, who led the NL West at the All-Star break before falling into second place behind Los Angeles after losing two of three at Arizona over the weekend.

At Los Angeles, Jeff Kent and Matt Kemp hit three-run homers and Los Angeles beat Philadelphia to its fifth straight win.
Rookie Kason Gabbard pitched a three-hitter for Boston's second shutout of the season, and the Red Sox scored all their runs on homers in a 4-0 victory over the Kansas City Royals in the American League on Monday.
Making his fourth start in place of injured Curt Schilling, Gabbard (3-0) started the game with four 1-3 hitless innings and finished with the first complete game of his career.
Boston got solo homers from Dustin Pedroia and Manny Ramirez in the fourth and a two-run shot by David Ortiz in the sixth, all off Brian Bannister (5-6).
Gabbard struck out eight, walked one and hit two batters.

At New York, Alex Rodriguez hit a two-run homer and New York got another big hit from Andy Phillips.

At Cleveland, Paul Konerko hit a three-run homer to highlight Chicago's nine-run sixth inning.
Konerko's 19th homer, off reliever Fernando Cabrera, was one of five extra-base hits in the sixth -- Chicago's highest-scoring inning of this year -- that made it 11-2.
Cleveland got a three-run homer from Franklin Gutierrez in the sixth, and then scored five times off four Chicago relievers in the eighth to climb within one.

At Oakland, California, Jerry Hairston and Marlon Byrd hit two-run doubles and Jamey Wright pitched seven scoreless innings as Texas handed Oakland its eighth straight loss.
Sammy Sosa doubled and scored two runs for the last-place Rangers, who won their second straight road game to move within three-and-a-half games of the third-place A's.
