Sloppy second
Trouble finding the basket would continue for both teams as they completed a sloppy second quarter in which the Dinos fell behind by as many as ten points before veteran point guard Chen Chih-chung netted two three's to reduce the Tigers lead to three (31-28) at the half-way mark.
Whatever adjustments that were made during halftime would paid immediate dividends as the Dinos erupted for a record-high 38 points in a flawless third quarter that turned a three-point deficit into a 12-point lead.
Even though the Tigers would fight back with a strong fourth quarter to make things interesting, it was too little too late against the tremendous postseason experience of the Dinos as the Tigers missed a golden opportunity to clinch the series by dropping the heartbreaker.
