Pachuca defeated the Houston Dynamo 5-2 in extra time on Thursday and set up an all-Mexican Champions Cup final with Chivas Guadalajara.

Christian Gimenez's third goal of the match, in the 25th minute of extra time, sealed the result 5-4 on aggregate.

Pachuca will meet Guadalajara in the finals this month after the Chivas defeated DC United in the other semifinals on Tuesday.

Houston won the first leg 2-0 at home on March 15, but that advantage disappeared within 13 minutes on Thursday.

Gabriel Caballero scored after just three minutes off a rebound shot by Gimenez.

The Argentine striker then leveled the aggregate score with a penalty kick that came in the 13th minute.

Brian Mullan put Houston on the board and up a goal overall in the 52nd, but another Gimenez penalty four minutes later tied the aggregate.

Brian Ching's goal in the 79th looked set to propel Houston to the finals, but Caballero's second goal with three minutes left in regulation evened the aggregate again and forced extra time.

Gimenez followed up in the 115th minute to secure Pachuca's victory.

The winner of the finals will represent CONCACAF in the FIFA Club World Cup in December, while the runner-up play its next match in the upcoming Copa Sudamericana.
