At Edmonton, Alberta, Eric Brewer scored 2:04 into overtime and St. Louis extended Edmonton's losing streak to 10 games.
Petr Cajanek and Jeff Woywitka also scored for the Blues.
Kyle Brodziak and Shawn Horcoff countered for Edmonton, which has been outscored 37-9 during its streak, which is one loss short of the club record. The losing streak started one game before they traded Ryan Smyth to the New York Islanders at the NHL trade deadline.

At Calgary, Alberta, Brian Rolston scored the tiebreaking goal at 4:47 of the third period to lead Minnesota over Calgary and give the Wild their sixth straight win.
Rolston blasted a slap shot through the legs of Calgary goalie Miikka Kiprusoff for the Wild's first lead.
Pavol Demitra, who had an assist earlier, closed the scoring with 5:01 remaining. Marian Gaborik and Stephane Veilleux also scored for the Wild, while Niklas Backstrom stopped 19 shots to improve to 18-5-8.
Damond Langkow and Alex Tanguay scored for the Flames, losers of three straight.
