Sevilla lost at home for the first time in nearly a year and missed an opportunity to increase its lead to five points atop the Spanish league, falling 2-1 to Mallorca on Sunday.
Jose Carlos de Araujo Nunes and Maxi Lopez scored second-half goals to rally Mallorca after Frederic Kanoute put Sevilla ahead through a penalty in the 22nd minute.
Sevilla remained on 37 points, two points ahead of FC Barcelona, who lost 3-1 on Saturday to Espanyol, and Real Madrid.

After Kanoute gave Sevilla the lead, Nunes scored in the 48th minute and Lopez added the winner in the 62nd.
Real Madrid kept pace and moved into third behind Barcelona on goal difference with a 1-0 victory at Zaragoza.
In other games on Sunday, it was: Gimnastic Tarragona 1, Getafe 3; Osasuna 5, Real Betis 1; Racing Santander 1, Real Sociedad 0; Recreativo Huelva 1, Deportivo La Coruna 1; Athletic Bilbao 0, Villarreal 1; and Celta Vigo 1, Atletico Madrid 3. In Saturday's other game, Valencia beat Levante 3-0.
Madrid had to overcome the loss of captain Raul Gonzalez in the 15th minute, replaced by Brazil forward Robinho after apparently pulling a muscle in his right leg.
Striker Gonzalo Higuain, who made his debut for Madrid on Jan. 11 following his transfer from River Plate, slotted the ball across the goalmouth where Ruud van Nistelrooy tapped in after 41 minutes.
David Beckham, who was accompanied by his mother, was seen cheering his teammates from the stands. Manager Fabio Capello said on Saturday that Beckham would train, but not play, with Madrid following his announcement earlier this week that he was leaving the club later this year for the Los Angeles Galaxy.
Elsewhere, Getafe scored early when midfielder Angel Vivar Dorado headed in a goal in the 13th minute. Striker Daniel "Guiza" Gonzalez added a second in the 43rd after controlling a cross from Manuel Moral, and then Javier Casquero hit home a low shot in the 77th.
Gimnastic defender Miguel Angel Llera pulled one back in the 62nd.
Osasuna left back Enrique Corrales laid the ball back to Roberto Soldado's feet for a goal in the 17th minute. In the 31st, Patxi Punal hit a shot from inside the penalty area which Betis defender David Rivas tried to stop but could only manage to deflect into his own net.
David Lopez scored with a low shot from outside the penalty area in the 57th minute from an assist by Roberto Soldado, who scored in the 59th. Achille Webo added a fifth in the 73rd.
Midfielder Arturo Arzu scored Betis' only goal in the 45th.
Santander scored in the 90th when Argentine defender Ezequiel Garay converted a penalty.
Recreativo Huelva's Javi Guerrero opened the scoring in the 11th minute when he stretched forward to slice a right-footed shot into the net.
Deportivo La Coruna equalized in the 21st when striker Javier Arizmendi chested the ball down just outside the penalty area, controlled it and blasted it into the net.
Villarreal scored in the 25th when Diego Forlan found the back of the net from a tight angle on the left of goal to allow his team to halt a run of four consecutive losses.
Fernando Torres was brought down in the penalty area by defender Gabriel Tamas and the Atletico captain converted the penalty in the 13th with a header after goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto had saved the initial shot.
Torres scored his seventh goal of the season in the 21st with a low, right-foot shot from an assist by teenage striker Sergio Aguero. In the 54th, Aguero scored from an assist by Torres.
Celta midfielder Nene scored his fifth goal in the league with a left-foot shot in the 70th.
