Ten-man Ajax conceded four straight goals to lose 4-2 at Vitesse Arnhem, while AZ Alkmaar drew 0-0 with NEC Nijmegen in the Dutch league on Sunday.

That means both teams fell further behind leader PSV Eindhoven after it beat Willem II 4-0 on Saturday.

PSV leads with 49 points, AZ follows with 40 and Ajax is next with 38.

Zdenek Grygera scored with a fourth-minute header and Tom de Mul made it 2-0 for Ajax on a rebounded shot in the 35th.

But Danko Lazovic pulled a goal back for Vitesse in the 49th and two minutes later he set up Mads Junker to score the leveler.

Ajax defender Gabri was sent off in the 70th after picking up a second yellow card.

Vitesse forward Fred Benson made it 3-2 in the 89th and Youssouf Hersi finished the scoring in the third minute of injury time. Both scorers are former Ajax players.

"Vitesse played aggressively, positively aggressively," Ajax coach Henk ten Cate said. "We couldn't bring anything to match it."
