AP , WASHINGTON

Nets 108, Bucks 95

At East Rutherford, New Jersey, Vince Carter scored 36 points and Jason Kidd registered his 80th career triple-double to lead New Jersey over Milwaukee.

Kidd finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists and rookies Marcus Williams and Hassan Adams came up big in the fourth quarter as the Nets won consecutive games for only the third time this season.

Charlie Villanueva scored 23 points and Mo Williams added 17 for the Bucks, who couldn't overcome the combination of a slow start and Michael Redd's worst game of the season. The NBA's No. 3 scorer (28.9) tallied a season-low nine points on 3-of-13 shooting.

Andrew Bogut, who didn't score in an earlier meeting between the teams this season, added 15 points and 11 rebounds for Milwaukee.

In other games, it was: Knicks 94, Hawks 82; Spurs 95, Timberwolves 82; Trail Blazers 85, Grizzlies 79; Bulls 99, SuperSonics 84
