Twins Sun Xiang and Sun Ji are the latest Chinese stars to audition for a top European club, embarking on a two-week trial with Holland's PSV Eindhoven.
The 24-year-old defenders started training over the weekend with the defending Dutch champion's youth squad, then moved up to the first team on Monday under the supervision of head coach Ronald Koeman, according to the PSV Eindhoven Web site.
The pair, currently signed to Chinese Super League runner-up Shanghai Shenhua, hope to secure a permanent deal with the Dutch club. PSV has also expressed interest in Wang Dalei, goalkeeper for the Suns' cross-town rival, Shanghai United, reportedly considering offering about US$1 million for the 17-year-old.
Wang recently spent 10 days training with Italy's Inter Milan alongside Zhang Wenzhao of Shenzhen Kingway.
