At Oakland, California, Kendry Morales hit a go-ahead, two-run triple to help Los Angeles' Ervin Santana win his sixth straight decision.

National League

David Wright hit a go-ahead three-run homer in the eighth inning to help the New York Mets beat the Florida Marlins 7-6 on Sunday.

The first-place Mets reached the All-Star break with a 53-38 record and led the National League East by 12 games. Xavier Nady also hit a two-run homer for New York.

Joe Borchard went 2-for-3 and scored twice for the Marlins, who scored three runs in the seventh to take a 5-3 lead.

At Atlanta, Andruw Jones hit a two-run homer, and Atlanta roughed up Cincinnati All-Star Bronson Arroyo.
