American LeagueTy Wigginton homered for the third time in two games, connecting off Curt Schilling to snap a seventh-inning tie and help the Tampa Bay Devil Rays beat the Boston Red Sox 9-6 on Tuesday.
Julio Lugo and Jonny Gomes also went deep for Tampa Bay, which hit three homers on Monday to beat Josh Beckett, Boston's other 10-game winner.
Wigginton homered twice off Beckett, and his first-pitch homer leading off the seventh ended a personal five-game winning streak for Schilling (10-3), who allowed four runs and nine hits in seven innings.

The Devil Rays scored five runs off Mike Timlin in the eighth to go ahead 9-3. Boston's Manny Ramirez hit a three-run homer, his 23rd, in the ninth off Shawn Camp, who still earned his fourth save.
Jon Switzer (1-0) pitched 2-3 of an inning in relief for his first major league win.
Boston's David Ortiz hit his 27th homer in the seventh, tying the score 3-all.

At Chicago, Jose Contreras easily won his 17th straight decision and Juan Uribe hit a three-run homer and drove in five runs to lead Chicago.
Contreras was 5-0 in his first six starts with a 1.41 ERA, but struggled since returning from the disabled list with a pinched nerve in his right hip. Contreras (9-0) pitched 6 2-3 scoreless innings and allowed six hits and struck out three without a walk.
His last loss came on Aug. 15 against the Twins.
Paul Konerko added a three-run homer in the third inning Uribe was 3-for-5, a triple short of the cycle. He is 11-for-28 in his last eight games with three home runs and 17 RBIs.
Rodrigo Lopez (5-10) gave up nine runs and 10 hits in just 2 2-3 innings.
