Australia take on tough France later on Saturday, but Ella was confidently optimistic of winning their third straight victory in the tournament.
"France will be very tough. They are in front of us in the points table in the IRB circuit and we have to play very well against them because they will defend very well and they got some speed. We really have to be on top of our game."
Earlier, Kenya thrashed Madagascar 50-0 for their biggest-ever win against their African neighbours in a Group A encounter which saw Teddy Omondi score four tries.
Omondi was second highest try scorer at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne two weeks ago and he was in ominous form again as he tore apart the Madagascar defence to hand Kenya their second straight win.
Canada powered past Hong Kong 29-5 in Pool B, while Wales thrashed China 29-0 in Pool C. Scotland hammered Singapore 82-0 in Pool D for the highest points score in the tournament.
