Four different players scored for Chelsea to give the Blues a 4-1 victory over Everton on Wednesday and send it to the fifth round of the English FA Cup.
In the other FA Cup, fourth-round replay, Middlesbrough defeated Coventry 1-0. In the only Premier League game, Charlton defeated Liverpool 2-0.

Diego Milito scored four goals and Zaragoza overwhelmed Real Madrid 6-1 in a first-leg semifinal.
Ewerthon added Zaragoza's other goals at La Romareda Stadium, leaving Madrid looking almost certain to be eliminated in next week's second leg at its Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Julio Baptista netted a consolation goal for the visitors, who had hoped to win Spain's knockout competition this season and end a drought without a major trophy which stretches back to 2003.
Zaragoza's victory ended Madrid's seven-game winning streak in the league and Copa del Rey. It was Madrid's first defeat in 2006.
In the other semifinal, Espanyol hosts Deportivo La Coruna today.
The final is on April 12 at a venue yet to be decided.
Zaragoza, which eliminated FC Barcelona in the previous round, stunned Madrid by racing to a three-goal lead in the first 34 minutes.
Milito opened his account in the 15th minute by rifling a rising shot from a pass by fellow striker Ewerthon, who had beaten Madrid defender Ivan Helguera to the ball and raced clear down the right wing.
The goal was the first Madrid had conceded in this season's Copa del Rey.
Bayern Munich didn't suit up but it was still the big winner as Werder Bremen drew and Hamburg lost.
Bayern's draw a day earlier gave its rivals the chance to make up ground on the leader. Instead, Bremen remained eight points back with a 0-0 draw against Stuttgart, and Hamburg fell 10 behind after Hannover dealt it a 2-1 loss.
"The possibility was there, but we didn't take it," said Bremen coach Thomas Schaaf.
Bremen wasted numerous chances against Stuttgart, including a near-certain one by forward Nelson Valdez. He popped up unmarked in front of the goal, tried to switch feet on a cross, and missed the ball.
"We had huge chances today, but maybe they were too easy," Schaaf said.
Italian coach Giovanni Trapattoni was booed by the 30,000 in Stuttgart's stadium. Many blame him for a defensive style that has produced 12 draws in 20 matches.
Alessandro Del Piero hit the crossbar with a last-minute penalty kick and Juventus settled for a 1-1 draw with Parma, ending its 12-match home win streak but still stretching its lead atop the Serie A.
The draw was the first time Juventus was denied a victory at Stadio delle Alpi since April of last season, but the Turin club still moved nine points clear of Inter Milan heading into their weekend showdown at San Siro.
Inter lost 2-1 at Fiorentina to end its 14-match unbeaten streak. AC Milan overwhelmed Treviso 5-0 to remain in third place, 12 points behind Juventus and one ahead of Fiorentina.
Portuguese striker Pauleta scored a league-leading 16th goal on Wednesday and Paris Saint-Germain drew 1-1 at Strasbourg in lone rescheduled 24th-round first-division match.
PSG moved past Marseille on goal difference into fifth overall with 39 points -- 16 behind runaway league leader and defending champion Lyon.
Strasbourg is next-to-last with 16 points.
Ivory Coast striker Amara Diane put the home side ahead in the 13th minute, scoring with a sharp right-footed blast from four meters inside the left post. Pauleta equalized in the 31st minute, scoring on a free kick from about 20m.
US track and field athletes have about four dozen pieces to choose from when assembling their uniforms at the Olympics. The one grabbing the most attention is a high-cut leotard that barely covers the bikini line and has triggered debate between those who think it is sexist and others who say they do not need the Internet to make sure they have good uniforms. Among those critical or laughing at the uniforms included Paralympian Femita Ayanbeku, sprinter Britton Wilson and even athletes from other countries such as Britain’s Abigail Irozuru, who wrote on social media: “Was ANY female athlete consulted in
Four-time NBA all-star DeMarcus Cousins arrived in Taiwan with his family early yesterday to finish his renewed contract with the Taiwan Beer Leopards in the T1 League. Cousins initially played a four-game contract with the Leopards in January. On March 18, the Taoyuan-based team announced that Cousins had renewed his contract. “Hi what’s up Leopard fans, I’m back. I’m excited to be back and can’t wait to join the team,” Cousins said in a video posted on the Leopard’s Facebook page. “Most of all, can’t wait to see you guys, the fans, next weekend. Forget Real Madrid, Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain, the world’s best soccer team — statistically speaking — might be a little-known outfit from the closed central Asian nation of Turkmenistan. Founded last year, Arkadag, named in honor of former Turkmen president Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, have been unstoppable, notching up 36 consecutive domestic victories in a run still ongoing. The side have not lost a single competitive match and swept to a league and cup double in their inaugural season — success unthinkable almost anywhere else. However, in Turkmenistan, it could hardly have gone any other way. The energy-rich country is one of the most closed
Former US Masters champion Zach Johnson was left embarrassed after a foul-mouthed response to ironic cheers from spectators after a triple bogey at Augusta National on Friday. Johnson, the 2007 Masters winner, missed the cut after his three-over-par round of 75 left him on seven-over 151 for 36 holes, his six on the par-three 12th playing a big role in his downfall. Television footage showed Johnson reacting to sarcastic cheers and applause when he tapped in for the triple bogey by yelling: “Oh fuck off.” Such a response would be considered bad form in any golf tournament, but is particularly out of keeping
