Mike Knuble scored the go-ahead goal with 2:05 left and Antero Niittymaki stopped 24 shots to lead the Philadelphia Flyers over Pittsburgh 4-2 in the NHL on Monday, the Penguins' 10th consecutive loss.
Michal Handzus, Petr Nedved and Simon Gagne also scored for the Flyers, who beat the lowly Penguins for the second time in three days. The Flyers snapped a four-game losing streak with a 2-1 victory over Pittsburgh on Saturday, and they completed the home-and-home sweep with their first win at the Wachovia Center since Dec. 22.
Peter Forsberg returned to the lineup for the Atlantic Division-leading Flyers and had an assist on Knuble's 22nd goal. Simon Gagne scored an empty-net goal, his 33rd of the season.

"The only thing I did all day was win a faceoff at the end," said Forsberg, who missed two games because of an abdominal muscle strain. "We shouldn't keep it that close after going up 2-0."

Hurricanes 7, Canadiens 3
At Raleigh, North Carolina, Eric Staal and Justin Williams each had a goal and two assists to help Carolina wins its eighth consecutive home game.
Andrew Ladd and Erik Cole each added a goal and an assist for the Hurricanes, and Bret Hedican, Craig Adams and Matt Cullen also scored.
Tomas Plekanec had two goals and Francis Bouillon also scored for Montreal. Tthe Canadiens have lost seven consecutive away from home and 16 of its past 17.
Bruins 3, Capitals 2
At Washington, Wayne Primeau scored twice and Boston ended Washington's season-high, four-game winning streak.
Brad Boyes also scored for Boston, and Brad Isbister and Eric Nickulas each had two assists. The Bruins have won three of four games and earned points in five consecutive games.
Brian Willsie and Brooks Laich scored for the Capitals, who failed in a bid to win five straight for the first time since March 2001.
Washington's Alexander Ovechkin was shut out, ending an eight-game point streak that matched the rookie's season high.
Predators 3, Red Wings 2
At Detroit, Scott Hartnell scored in the second period and Nashville kept the one-goal lead it had when the game was suspended in November after Red Wings defenseman Jiri Fischer collapsed on the bench with cardiac arrest.
Although the teams played a full 60-minute game on Monday night, Nashville started with a 1-0 advantage on Greg Johnson's goal from the game at Detroit on Nov. 21 that was stopped with 7:30 left in the first period.
The game resumed on a date originally scheduled to be Nashville's home game against Detroit. The Predators will play that home game against the Red Wings on March 30.
Fischer, who attends occasional games and practices, is being treated with medicine, is undergoing regular tests and has not been cleared to play. The team has not given a timetable for the 25-year-old Czech's return.
The Predators are 5-3-0 in their last eight games, pulling within of one point of the Western Conference-leading Red Wings. Detroit had won four straight.
Steve Sullivan also scored for Nashville, and Tomas Vokoun made 39 saves.
Pavel Datsyuk and Mathieu Schneider scored for Detroit.
Senators 4, Maple Leafs 3
At Ottawa, Daniel Alfredsson scored his 30th goal and Dominik Hasek made 23 saves to lead Ottawa to its second home win over Toronto in three nights.
Mike Fisher, Wade Redden and Bryan Smolinski also scored for Ottawa, which beat Toronto 7-0 on Saturday. The Senators improved to 6-0 against their provincial rivals this season and have outscored them 36-12.
Tie Domi, Kyle Wellwood and Nik Antropov scored for Toronto, which has lost six straight overall. Toronto defenseman Carlo Colaiacovo sustained a concussion and was taken off the ice on a stretcher after his head struck the boards following a collision with Ottawa's Vaclav Varada.
Blues 4, Canucks 0
At St. Louis, Curtis Sanford stopped 34 shots for his third shutout of the season and Mike Sillinger scored for the fifth consecutive game, helping St. Louis end a nine-game losing streak.
Vladimir Orsagh, Christian Backman and Petr Cajanek also scored for the Blues, whose last victory also came over the Canucks on Jan. 2. The slump was two games shy of a franchise-record 11-game losing streak this season.
Sanford, who has four shutouts in 28 career starts, was at his best in the third period when the Canucks had a 21-5 shots advantage. Vancouver, beginning a seven-game trip, was blanked on four power plays in the final period.
Stars 4, Coyotes 1
At Dallas, Sergei Zubov scored the first of Dallas' four consecutive goals and Marty Turco made 17 saves to help the Stars end a three-game losing streak.
Turco gave up a soft first-period goal to Dave Scatchard before settling down with the help of a tight defensive effort by his teammates. Turco had been pulled in three of his previous six games and had allowed eight goals in the last 22 shots he faced.
Zubov scored in the first period, Jussi Jokinen, Brenden Morrow and Jason Arnott added second-period goals and Mike Modano had two assists for the Stars.
Flames 3, Oilers 1
At Edmonton, Alberta, Jarome Iginla scored twice and Miikka Kiprusoff made 30 saves for Calgary.
Kristian Huselius also scored and added an assist for Calgary, which has won four consecutive games to start a five-game road trip. The Flames moved two points ahead of Vancouver for first place in the Northwest Division.
Ales Hemsky scored for Edmonton, which lost its fourth consecutive home game and fell seven points behind the Flames.

At Los Angeles, Luc Robitaille scored the tying goal in the third period and Joe Corvo clinched the deciding goal in a shootout for Los Angeles.
The Kings have beaten Anaheim in the last nine meetings that have gone past regulation, including a 4-3 shootout win on Dec. 16 in Anaheim.
Corvo beat Jean-Sebastien Giguere on the Kings' fifth shot of the shootout, right after Anaheim's Ryan Getzlaf hit the left post behind Mathieu Garon.

Shohei Ohtani’s interpreter is being criminally investigated by the IRS, and the attorney for his alleged bookmaker said Thursday that the ex-Los Angeles Dodgers employee placed bets on international soccer — but not baseball. The IRS confirmed Thursday that interpreter Ippei Mizuhara and Mathew Bowyer, the alleged illegal bookmaker, are under criminal investigation through the agency’s Los Angeles Field Office. MLB on Friday announced a formal investigation into the scandal swirling around Shohei Ohtani and his former interpreter amid charges that the Los Angeles Dodgers superstar was the victim of “massive theft.” The Dodgers on Wednesday fired Ippei Mizuhara, Ohtani’s long-time interpreter and close friend, after Ohtani’s representatives alleged that the Japanese two-way star had been the victim of theft, which was reported to involve millions of dollars and link Mizuhara to a suspected illegal bookmaker in California. “Major League Baseball has been gathering information since we learned about the allegations involving Shohei Ohtani and Ippei Mizuhara from the news media,” MLB
