Gilbert Arenas had 22 points and a season-high 12 assists to help Washington hold Philadelphia to its lowest point total of the season in a 104-76 rout of the 76ers on Monday.
Caron Butler led the Wizards with 23 points and Antawn Jamison added 21 points and 10 rebounds for his 16th double-double of the season as Washington won a season-high fourth consecutive game.
Andre Iguodala scored 18 points to lead the Sixers, who set season-lows for points, field goals made (26) and field-goal percentage (33.3). Allen Iverson added 17 points on 6-for-20 shooting. No other Sixer managed reached double figures in scoring. The Sixers' previous season-low was 85 points, set three times.
Timberwolves 96, Knicks 90
At New York, Troy Hudson scored 10 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter, including a clinching 3-pointer with 7.3 seconds left, as Minnesota held off the Knicks.
Wally Szczerbiak and Kevin Garnett each scored 24 points for the Timberwolves, who seemed to be in control after building a 19-point lead in the third quarter. But the Knicks nearly rallied in the fourth -- despite having to play much of the final period without leading scorer Stephon Marbury -- forcing Hudson to hit a couple of huge shots.
Marbury scored 20 points before leaving in the fourth when he collided with Szczerbiak while trying to fight through a pick. Quentin Richardson added 14 and Nate Robinson scored 13 -- nine in the final period when the Knicks pulled within two. Two free throws by Robinson cut the deficit to two with 32 seconds remaining, but the Wolves ran the clock down before Hudson hit his 3-pointer to make it 95-90.
Hornets 107, Bobcats 92
At Charlotte, North Carolina, Chris Paul had 24 points, seven rebounds and six assists to lead New Orleans past the Bobcats.
David West added 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Hornets, who earned their 18th win, matching their victory total from last season. They also improved to 3-1 in two seasons against Charlotte, where they played from 1988-2002 before moving to New Orleans.
Gerald Wallace had 19 points, seven rebounds and tied his career-high with six blocks to lead the injury-plagued Bobcats, who have lost eight of their last nine games and were without five players against New Orleans.
Primoz Brezec added 18 points for Charlotte.
Hawks 94, Rockets 83
At Atlanta, the Hawks took advantage of Tracy McGrady's absence to beat the short-handed Houston Rockets, ending a four-game losing streak. The Rockets suffered their sixth consecutive loss, including the last four without McGrady, who was with the team but couldn't play as he continues to recover from back spasms.
Al Harrington led Atlanta with 28 points and Joe Johnson added 22 as the Hawks became the last NBA team to win 10 games.
Juwan Howard scored 20 points and Rafer Alston added 19 for the Rockets.
Nuggets 97, Bulls 94
At Chicago, Carmelo Anthony scored 39 points and Kenyon Martin added 22 points and 14 rebounds to lead Denver past the Bulls.
Trailing 91-86 with 2:12 left in the game, the Nuggets outscored Chicago 11-3 in the final minutes to come back and beat the Bulls.
Anthony hit two free throws and Martin added one, then Earl Watson hit a 3 from the top of the key to give them a 92-91 lead with 48.7 seconds left.
Chicago missed two opportunities to take the lead or tie the game. Andres Nocioni's shot missed badly in the lane with 36.3 left. The Nuggets then came down the floor and Martin scored between Tyson Chandler and Darius Songaila to put Denver up three.
Kirk Hinrich scored 20 points and Darius Songaila added 14 points for Chicago, which has lost 11 of its last 14 games.
Clippers 102, Jazz 93, OT
At Los Angeles, Elton Brand scored six of his 35 points in overtime and had 14 rebounds after missing two games because of a sore right hip, and the Los Angeles Clippers knocked the Utah Jazz out of first place in the Northwest Division.
Sam Cassell had 25 points, seven rebounds and eight assists for the Clippers, who have won three straight after losing nine of 12. They made their first 26 free throws and finished 36-for-41 from the line.
Mehmet Okur scored 19 points and Gordan Giricek added 17 for the Jazz, whose bench outscored the Clippers' reserves 36-8.
Pistons 94, Celtics 84
At Auburn Hills, Michigan, Rasheed Wallace scored 18 of his 23 points in third quarter, and the Detroit Pistons coasted to a victory over Boston.
The Pistons have won 15 of 17 and are an NBA-best 30-5.
Paul Pierce scored 21 points and Delonte West had 20 for the Celtics, who have lost five of six to fall nine games under. 500.
Boston's Ricky Davis was held scoreless -- 20 points below his average -- on 0-for-8 shooting. Davis scored 33 points in his last game, and 31 in the previous game against Detroit.

At East Rutherford, New Jersey, Jason Kidd scored 23 points and made a season-high five 3-pointers to help New Jersey beat an injury-depleted Indiana.
Vince Carter added 24 points and Nenad Krstic had 20 for New Jersey (20-15), which snapped a three-game losing streak and won for the 11th time in its last 14 games.
Richard Jefferson, who had missed the last three games -- all losses -- with back spasms, shot 4-for-13 and finished with 11 points for the Nets.
Austin Croshere led Indiana (20-16) with 17 points and teammates Anthony Johnson and Fred Jones scored 16 apiece.

At Oakland, California, Jason Richardson scored 26 points to help Golden State end its second five-game skid of the season.

At Memphis, Tennessee, Tony Parker scored 28 points on 12-of-13 shooting for San Antonio. After missing his seventh attempt, Parker grabbed the rebound and scored in the third quarter. He also was 4-for-4 from the line.
Manu Ginobili added 15 points to help San Antonio beat Memphis for the second time in three days. The Spurs edged the Grizzlies 80-79 on Saturday night in San Antonio.
Tim Duncan had 13 points and 12 rebounds for his NBA-leading 30th double-double of the season, and Michael Finley also had 13 points for the Spurs.
