Henrik Zetterberg scored twice for the second consecutive game to lead the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday night.
Nicklas Lidstrom gave the Red Wings a three-goal lead in the third period and Chris Osgood had to make just 16 saves to help Detroit win its third consecutive game.
Pittsburgh's Mark Recchi scored with 28.9 seconds left.
Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 36 shots for the Penguins, who have lost seven of eight.
Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby was held without a goal for the third consecutive game, and the rookie sensation has been limited to one goal in his last seven games. He had an assist on the Penguins' goal.
Maple Leafs 3, Mighty Ducks 2
At Toronto, Tomas Kaberle and Alex Steen scored power-play goals, and Toronto ended a three-game skid with a victory over Anaheim.
Kyle Wellwood also scored for the Maple Leafs, who had lost four of five. Toronto went 2-for-6 on the power play, while Anaheim was 0-for-8.
The Maple Leafs won despite missing goalie Ed Belfour and center Eric Lindros. Toronto coach Pat Quinn said Belfour has a sore groin and Lindros a ligament tear in his wrist.
Quinn hopes Lindros will play in the team's next game, Saturday at Ottawa.
Rob Niedermayer and Teemu Selanne scored for the Mighty Ducks, who haven't won in Toronto in more than six years. The Mighty Ducks are 2-14 all-time in Toronto.
Senators 6, Avalanche 2
At Denver, Dany Heatley scored the go-ahead goal in the third period and added two assists, and Ottawa scored four times in the final period to overwhelm Colorado.
Ottawa had trouble setting up its power play early and played without Jason Spezza, the NHL's third-leading scorer, because of a hip injury.
It didn't matter. After Mike Fisher scored in the first period and Christoph Schubert in the second, the Senators turned a 2-all game into a rout. They lead the NHL with 46 points.
Heatley scored his 20th goal nearly six minutes into the third. Patrick Eaves, Bryan Smolinski and Brandon Bochenski followed.
Dominik Hasek stopped 22 shots and has allowed only 19 goals during a 9-0-1 streak. Daniel Alfredsson had three assists.
Avalanche rookie Marek Svatos scored his 15th goal and Patrice Brisebois ended a 21-game goal drought, but Colorado lost for the fourth time in six games.
