Two tickets for next year's World Cup final game have been auctioned off for US$750,000 at a charity event in Doha, Qatar, organizers said Thursday.
The tickets were presented by World Cup organizing committee president Franz Beckenbauer during the "Reach out for Asia" event that raised US$10.5 million for the victims of the tsunami disaster and the Asia quake on Tuesday.
Included with the tickets for the World Cup title match were also two tickets for the English FA Cup final, plus eight jerseys from soccer stars.
