Following his 100 not out at The Oval and scores of 194 and 151 in England's 2-0 Test series win, Trescothick had taken his personal tally against Bangladesh this season to 530 runs at an average of 176.66.
Collingwood was especially severe on Rafique, twice sweeping the left-arm spinner for six.
Strauss brought up England's 300 with an outrageous shot, stepping well outside off-stump before flicking Mortaza down to long-on for four, a stroke he repeated several times.
England remained top of the table with Bangladesh still second. The next series match was yesterday's Durham day/nighter between England and Australia.
Vaughan out
England captain Michael Vaughan was ruled out of yesterday's triangular series one-day international before play got under way in the day/night match at the Riverside.
Vaughan suffered a groin strain during England's 168-run win over Bangladesh on Tuesday.
Earlier yesterday, Warwickshire batsman Ian Bell was added to England's one-day squad as cover.
This match was only the third Vaughan had missed since becoming England captain in 2003 following last year's Lord's Test against New Zealand and a one-day international against South Africa in Port Elizabeth in February.
England are attempting to claim three successive one-day international victories over Australia for the first time since 1997 following Sunday's three-wicket triangular win in Bristol and September's six-wicket ICC Champions Trophy semi-final success at Edgbaston.
