Lamar Odom earned the first triple-double by a Miami Heat player in nine years with 30 points, 19 rebounds and 11 assists to help beat the Sacramento Kings 102-96 Saturday.
The triple-double was the fourth in Heat history and Odom's eighth. He achieved a season high in points and a career high in rebounds, and he matched his career high in assists.
"That's my favorite part of basketball -- getting triple-doubles and filling it up a little bit," Odom said. "If there's one stat I could have, that would be it, whether it's 10-10-10 or big ones like this. I'll remember this game for a long time."
Rafer Alston scored 20 points for Miami. Reserves Rasual Butler and Udonis Haslem added 17 apiece.
Mike Bibby scored 24 points and Chris Webber 22 for the Kings. Peja Stojakovic went 4-for-13 and scored just 14 points.
"We didn't do a thing in the first half," coach Rick Adelman said. "We were in another place. I don't know what was going on."

Amare Stoudemire topped the Suns with 23 points, the 11th straight game he has been the team's top scorer. It also was the 11th consecutive game in which he has scored 20 points or more -- the longest such streak for a Phoenix player since Charles Barkley did it during the 1994-1995 season.

US track and field athletes have about four dozen pieces to choose from when assembling their uniforms at the Olympics. The one grabbing the most attention is a high-cut leotard that barely covers the bikini line and has triggered debate between those who think it is sexist and others who say they do not need the Internet to make sure they have good uniforms. Among those critical or laughing at the uniforms included Paralympian Femita Ayanbeku, sprinter Britton Wilson and even athletes from other countries such as Britain’s Abigail Irozuru, who wrote on social media: “Was ANY female athlete consulted in

Former US Masters champion Zach Johnson was left embarrassed after a foul-mouthed response to ironic cheers from spectators after a triple bogey at Augusta National on Friday. Johnson, the 2007 Masters winner, missed the cut after his three-over-par round of 75 left him on seven-over 151 for 36 holes, his six on the par-three 12th playing a big role in his downfall. Television footage showed Johnson reacting to sarcastic cheers and applause when he tapped in for the triple bogey by yelling: “Oh fuck off.” Such a response would be considered bad form in any golf tournament, but is particularly out of keeping
