Martin St. Louis had the second hat trick of his career and Dave Andreychuk got his 1,300th point Thursday to lead the Tampa Bay Lightning to their fifth straight victory, 5-4 over the Carolina Hurricanes.
St. Louis scored all three of his goals during the Lightning's five-goal first period, matching the three-goal performance the All-Star forward had against Carolina on Jan. 30 last year.
"Wins are tough to come by in this league. You take the two points and go," Lightning coach John Tortorella said.
"The second period we hit the wall. The positive thing out of it is we found a way to finish the game and get the two points," Tortorella said.
Andreychuk scored the 622nd goal of his 22-year career in the period, making him the 25th player in NHL history with 1,300 points.
Carolina scored three straight goals, pulling to 5-4 on Josef Vasicek's shot with 10:23 remaining.
Predators 4, Coyotes 3
In Nashville, Tennessee, Scott Hartnell scored a power-play goal with 47 seconds remaining to send Nashville over Phoenix.
Andrew Hutchinson, Marek Zidlicky and Martin Erat also scored for the Predators, who got 21 saves from Tomas Vokoun.
Daymond Langkow, Daniel Cleary and Brian Savage scored for the Coyotes.
Devils 3, Rangers 3
In New York, Matthew Barnaby scored with 1:49 remaining in regulation to lift the New York Rangers into a tie with New Jersey.
The Devils appeared to be on their way to another win over the Rangers after Sergei Brylin scored to snap a third-period tie. But Barnaby salvaged a rare point for New York against New Jersey with his late goal.
Martin Brodeur made 30 saves in his 50th straight start against the Rangers, who are 1-21-13-1 versus the Devils since Feb. 17, 1997.
Mike Dunham made 30 stops for New York, which also got goals from Anson Carter and Chad Wiseman.
New Jersey's Scott Niedermayer assisted on goals by Erik Rasmussen and Jay Pandolfo.

In Buffalo, New York, Felix Potvin made 27 saves for his 31st career shutout and Sergei Samsonov scored to lift Boston over Buffalo.
Potvin, 3-0-1 in his last four starts, helped Boston extend its winning streak to five games and its unbeaten streak to seven (6-0-1-0).
Mika Noronen made 24 saves for Buffalo, which had its home unbeaten streak stopped at seven games.

In Ottawa, Todd White, Martin Havlat and Zdeno Chara scored in the third period to help Ottawa overcome a four-goal deficit and tie New York.
Patrick Lalime made 34 saves for the Senators, who earned a point for the 14th time in their last 15 games (10-1-4).
Michael Peca scored twice, and Mattias Weinhandl and Mariusz Czerkawski had power-play goals as New York built a 4-0 lead 14:13 into the second.
