Tom Poti had a goal and assist, and defense partner Brian Leetch set up two scores to lead the Rangers to their fourth straight victory over the Islanders, 4-1 Tuesday.
Alex Kovalev and Vladimir Malakhov added goals in the third period and Eric Lindros also scored to help the Rangers stretch their unbeaten streak against the Islanders to 6-0-2.
"They're a big skilled team," said Islanders goalie Rick DiPietro, who stopped 27 shots. "We talked about staying away from penalties, but there's a lot of emotion in these games. Everybody is so jacked up."
Mike Dunham made 18 saves to improve to 8-2-2 against the Islanders.
"We wish we played more games against those guys," Rangers forward Petr Nedved said. "We've had their number."

Sabres 6, Flyers 2
In Buffalo, New York, Curtis Brown had two goals and Mika Noronen made 35 saves for the Sabres.
Chris Drury added a goal and two assists, Jason Botterill had a goal and an assist, and Daniel Briere and Chris Taylor also scored for the Sabres, 2-1-1 in their last four games. Kim Johnsson and Tony Amonte scored for Philadelphia, 0-4-1-1 in its last six games.
Senators 4, Devils 0
In East Rutherford, New Jersey, Marian Hossa scored two goals and Ottawa held New Jersey to eight shots in the first two periods.
Bryan Smolinski and Josh Langfeld also scored, and Radek Bonk and Martin Havlat had two assists apiece for the Senators, 10-1-3 in their last 14 games (10-1-3). Patrick Lalime made 26 saves for his third shutout of the season and the 31st of his career.

In Pittsburgh, Cory Stillman and Brad Richards scored less than a minute apart early in the first period to help Tampa Bay run its franchise-best road winning streak to four games.
Lightning backup goalie John Grahame allowed only one goal for the fourth straight game -- all during the road winning streak -- while facing only 13 shots.

In Montreal, Mike Ribeiro and Jan Bulis each had a goal and an assist and Canadiens backup goalie Mathieu Garon made 16 saves.
Richard Zednik, Michael Ryder and Craig Rivet also scored for Montreal, 6-1-1 in its last eight games. Pavol Demitra and Eric Nickulas scored for St. Louis.

In Toronto, Bryan McCabe scored two power-play goals to help Toronto push its Eastern Conference-leading points total to 59.

In Glendale, Arizona, Markus Naslund scored two goals to send Vancouver over Phoenix and extend its road winning streak to eight games.
Ed Jovanovski and Daniel Sedin added power-play goals for the Canucks, 6-2-1 in their last nine games overall.
Phoenix goalie Brian Boucher, whose string of five consecutive shutouts ended with a first-period goal against Atlanta on Sunday, surrendered a pair goals in the first 9:54.
