In New York, Jarome Iginla had two goals and an assist, and Calgary extended its road-winning streak to six games by beating New York. The Islanders' home-winning streak was snapped at seven.
Oleg Saprykin had the other Calgary goal, and Jamie McLennan made 31 saves to win for the second straight night. It was the Flames' sixth consecutive win on Long Island, dating to their last loss on Dec. 3, 1996.
Mattias Weinhandl and Jason Blake scored for the Islanders, winless in three games (0-2-1) after posting a six-game winning streak.
Canadiens 3, Sabres 1
In Montreal, Jose Theodore made 34 saves, and Pierre Dagenais, Saku Koivu and Mike Ribeiro scored, leading Montreal over Buffalo.
The Canadiens also tied their longest unbeaten streak of the season at five, and have at least one point in six straight games (4-0-1-1).
Maple Leafs 2, Predators 1
In Toronto, Bryan McCabe scored twice in the third period to rally the Maple Leafs to a victory against Nashville.
Mats Sundin assisted on both goals for the Maple Leafs, who have won two straight following a four-game winless skid.
