Houston rockets past Cleveland Caves

Kerry Kittles added 12 points and Jason Collins had 10 while facing his twin brother Jarron as New Jersey won for the fifth time in six games.

New Jersey led 13-9 at the end of the first quarter as the teams combined for the second-lowest point total in NBA history for an opening period.

Raul Lopez had a team-high 15 points for the Jazz, who missed 12 of 31 free throw attempts.

Celtics 105, Mavericks 103

In Boston, Paul Pierce hit the winning jumper over Antoine Walker with 20 seconds left and Walker missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer as Boston beat Dallas.

That ended a bad night for Walker, traded to Dallas in a six-player deal on Oct. 20. He finished with seven points with seven rebounds and eight assists in his return to Boston.

Jiri Welsch, one of the players the Celtics obtained for him, had a career-high 21 points.

Pierce led the Celtics with 25 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists, and Walter McCarty added 18 points.

The Mavericks were led by Dirk Nowitzki with 30 points and Antawn Jamison with 21.

Spurs 73, Raptors 70

In San Antonio, Tony Parker made a free throw with 7.9 seconds left to preserve San Antonio's victory and stretched its winning streak to eight.

Parker had 13 points, and Tim Duncan had 30 points and 13 rebounds in helping the Spurs improve to 10-1 against Eastern Conference teams.

Rasho Nesterovic grabbed 10 rebounds.

Before their current streak, the Spurs were 9-10 and at the bottom of the Midwest division. Now they are in first place, a half-game ahead of Dallas.

The Raptors, who lost their fourth straight, were led by Donyell Marshall's 19 points and 14 rebounds.

Nuggets 99, SuperSonics 98

In Seattle, Carmelo Anthony scored 14 points, including a layup with six seconds to play that lifted Denver over Seattle.

The Sonics had a chance to win, but Marcus Camby blocked a shot at the top of the key by Seattle's Antonio Daniels.

Andre Miller led the Nuggets with 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Voshon Lenard scored 19. Camby added 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting, and Nene scored 14.

Rashard Lewis and Ronald Murray each scored 19 points for Seattle.

Clippers 93, Bucks 83

In LA, Bobby Simmons scored 16 of his career-high 20 points in the first half to help the Los Angeles Clippers beat Milwaukee and sweep their four-game homestand.

Elton Brand had 15 points and 16 rebounds after getting in early foul trouble, Corey Maggette scored 17 points and Chris Wilcox added 16 for Los Angeles. Dan Gadzuric scored 16 points for the Bucks.
