Heat marches on to down Raptors

Dwayne Wade hit the game-winning jumper with 28 seconds left and had 23 points to lead the Miami Heat to their third straight victory, 90-89 over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.

Wade also blocked a jumper attempt by Vince Carter with one minute left in the fourth quarter to help preserve the win.

Miami (8-5) improved to 3-0 since Caron Butler returned to the lineup, while winning on the road for just the second time in 11 games this season.

Brian Grant added 19 points and 13 rebounds for the Heat, while Lamar Odom had 17 points and 16 rebounds.

The Raptors won five straight games after making their big trade with the Chicago Bulls on Dec. 1, but have now lost two straight after losing 114-111 at Boston Friday night.

SuperSonics 108, Bucks 102

In Seattle, Ronald Murray dumped in 23 points to pace the SuperSonics to a victory over Milwaukee.

Vladimir Radmanovic and rookie Richie Frahm, with 17 points each, were among seven Sonics that reached double figures.

Michael Redd scored 27 points and Tim Thomas returned from a nine-game layoff to score 19 points for the Bucks, who lost despite building a 16-point advantage in the first quarter.

Jazz 94, 76ers 86

In Philadelphia, Andrei Kirilenko scored 30 points and pulled in 14 rebounds to help Utah to a win over the 76ers.

Matt Harpring added 27 points for the Jazz while Carlos Arroyo scored 15 points and had 11 assists.

Kenny Thomas scored 16 points and was the offensive leader for the 76ers, who were missing Allen Iverson for the second time in the past three games due to a knee injury.

Knicks 89, Wizards 87

In New York, Allan Houston grabbed 39 points to push the Knicks to victory over Washington.

Charlie Ward scored 13 points, including a pair of free throws with eight seconds left that proved to be the difference, as the Knicks won for the second time in a row after six straight losses.

Larry Hughes put in 19 points and Etan Thomas scored 16 points and 10 rebounds as the Wizards dropped their fourth in a row.

Kings 107, Suns 102

In Sacramento, Peja Stojakovic scored 36 points to pace the Kings to a comeback triumph over the Phoenix Suns.

Brad Miller scored 17 points and Doug Christie added 14 for the Kings, who outscored Phoenix 28-10 in the fourth quarter and picked up their fourth straight win.
