Ed Belfour made 25 saves in recording his second shutout of the season and the Toronto Maple Leafs won their seventh straight game, beating the Boston Bruins 6-0 Thursday night.
Joe Nieuwendyk scored two power-play goals for the Maple Leafs, who are on their longest winning streak since taking 10 straight in 1993-94. Five of Toronto's seven victories have come on the road.
"When you win seven in a row, you are getting contributions from different guys each night," Leafs defenseman Ken Klee said. "When guys like Nieuwendyk and [Mats] Sundin are out on the ice, you know good things will happen."
Darcy Tucker also scored twice for Toronto, which also received goals from Tie Domi and Bryan McCabe.
"We may have caught them on an off night," Nieuwendyk said of the Bruins. "They had a tough one last night against Atlanta and they looked flat early."
Owen Nolan had three assists and Sundin and Klee each had two for the Leafs.
Coyotes 3, Sabres 2
In Buffalo, New York, Branko Radivojevic scored with 4:03 remaining and Brian Boucher made 34 saves helping Phoenix extended its unbeaten streak to four games (3-0-1).
David Tanabe and Chris Gratton also scored for the Coyotes.
J.P. Dumont and Daniel Briere each scored their ninth goal of the season for Buffalo.
Senators 4, Lightning 1
In Tampa, Florida, Martin Prusek made 29 saves for his third straight win, and Jason Spezza had two goals to lead Ottawa.
Prusek has allowed just two goals in his three wins while filling in for Patrick Lalime, who is sidelined by the flu.
Bryan Smolinski and Antoine Vermette also scored for Ottawa.
Dave Andreychuk scored for the Lightning, who have lost three straight. Tampa Bay is winless in its last six games (0-4-2) and has scored just six goals in the span.
Rangers 4, Islanders 2
In Uniondale, New York, Brian Leetch and Anson Carter scored during a five-minute power play in the second period and the Rangers sent the Islanders to their seventh straight loss.
Leetch also scored earlier in the second period to record his 24th career two-goal game. He has never had a hat trick.
Mike Dunham made 37 saves, allowing goals to Janne Niinimaa and Alexei Yashin in the second half of the third period.
Martin Rucinsky sealed it for the Rangers, when he took a pass from Bobby Holik and finished a two-on-one with 5:17 left.
Devils 3, Capitals 0
In East Rutherford, New Jersey, Rookie defenseman Paul Martin had a goal and an assist in the first period and Martin Brodeur needed only nine saves to record his 69th shutout as New Jersey ended a four-game winless skid.
Turner Stevenson and Jeff Friesen also scored for the Devils, who won for the eighth time in their last 10 home games (8-1-1).
The loss ended three Washington streaks. The Capitals had won two straight for the first time this season and Robert Lang (16 games) and Jaromir Jagr (12 games) carried lengthy scoring streaks into the game.
Predators 4, Blue Jackets 2
In Columbus, Ohio, Rem Murray, Scott Hartnell, Greg Johnson and Scott Walker scored goals, and Tomas Vokoun stopped 37 shots for Nashville, which extended its franchise-record winning streak to six and won for the fourth straight time on the road.
Ukrainian emigre Nikolai Zherdev, the Blue Jackets' first-round draft pick who flew out of Russia on Sunday, scored his first NHL goal and had another one disallowed.
Rick Nash added his 17th goal for the Blue Jackets -- matching his total as a rookie last season. Zherdev picked up the assist.
Red Wings 4, Blues 4
In St. Louis, Pavel Datsyuk and Brett Hull scored in a 57-second span late in the third period as Detroit rallied from a three-goal deficit to tie St. Louis.
The Red Wings scored four times on their first 11 shots of the third against former teammate Chris Osgood. Hull has 730 goals and needs one to tie Marcel Dionne for third place on the career list.
Hull, Datsyuk and Steve Thomas each had a goal and an assist for Detroit, which beat Sergei Federov and the Mighty Ducks 7-2 a night earlier.
The comeback rescued goalie Dominik Hasek, who played for the first time in nine games due to a groin injury.

In Vancouver, British Columbia, Shean Donovan scored in his fourth straight game and Miikka Kiprusoff made 28 saves as Calgary downed Vancouver.
Kiprusoff won for the fourth time in five starts since being acquired from San Jose just over two weeks ago.
Jarome Iginla scored two goals and Martin Gelinas added a goal for the Flames.
Trevor Linden scored for the Canucks, who lost their second straight home game after going unbeaten in their first 10 at GM Place.
