Vincent Lecavalier, Martin St. Louis and Cory Stillman added goals to help Tampa Bay snap an 11-game regular-season losing streak in Washington.
Jaromir Jagr and Jason Doig scored for the Capitals.

In Columbus, Ohio, Glen Murray scored twice and Boston goalie Felix Potvin made 24 saves for his second shutout of the season and the 30th of his 12-year career.
Dan McGillis and Brian Rolston each had a goal and an assist for the Bruins, 3-0-1-0 in their last four games.

In Buffalo, New York, Aleksey Morozov scored at 3:09 of overtime to lift Pittsburgh past Buffalo.
