Sooners rout Texas as Badgers manage to upset Ohio State

The Oklahoma Sooners hung half a hundred again. Doing it against their arch rivals made this one even better.

Jason White threw four touchdown passes, Mark Clayton had a school-record 190 yards receiving and the defense snagged six turnovers as the No. 1 Sooners routed No. 11 Texas 65-13 Saturday.

Oklahoma (6-0, 2-0 Big 12) set series records for points and most lopsided victory -- for the second time in four years. It was a triumphant way for the Sooners to claim their first four-game winning streak over the Longhorns since 1985-1988.

In Baton Rouge Florida quarterback Chris Leak shrugged off six sacks, the Tiger Stadium noise and a pressing defense to lead the Gators over No. 6 LSU.

In Knoxville, Tennessee, David Greene was 22-of-27 for 228 yards and one touchdown as No. 8 Georgia moved closer to defending its Southeastern Conference championship.

In Columbia, Missouri, Brad Smith tied a school record with four touchdowns and Missouri scored twice on trick plays as the Tigers ended a 24-game losing streak against No. 10 Nebraska.

In Pittsburgh, Julius Jones broke Notre Dame's single-game rushing record with 262 yards and scored twice as the Fighting Irish surprised No. 15 Pittsburgh.

In Mount Pleasant, Michigan, Michael Turner ran for a season-high 199 yards and two touchdowns as No. 16 Northern Illinois overcame a slow start to beat Central Michigan.
