British veteran David Millar cruised to victory in the 17th stage of the Tour of Spain on Wednesday, and Spain's Isidro Nozal retained the overall lead with four stages left.
Cycling for Cofidis, Millar arrived alone at the finish line in Cordoba, taking 3 hours, 58 minutes, 2 seconds to complete the 188.4km stretch from Granada.
Spanish cyclists Alberto Martinez, of Euskatel, and Oscar Sevilla, of ONCE, arrived 36 seconds later.
Nozal's overall lead remained at 3:03 over ONCE teammate, Igor Gonzalez.
Spain's Manuel Beltran, cycling for US Postal Service, moved ahead of Kelme's Alejandro Valverde to fourth place, 5:16 behind Nozal.
The tour continues on the outskirts of Madrid on Thursday, with a 143.8km loop which begins and ends in Las Rozas.
