The Rockies placed right-hander Tsao Chin-hui Tsao of Taiwan on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday and purchased the contract of left-hander Jesus Sanchez from Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Tsao strained his left hamstring while running the bases in his last start Saturday.
