Pinch-hitter Todd Pratt connected for a two-run home run in the 13th inning Saturday, giving the Philadelphia Phillies a wild 6-5 victory over the Boston Red Sox.
Nomar Garciaparra tied a club record with six hits for the Red Sox, who blew three late leads.

Jim Thome hit game-tying homers in the eighth and 12th, and Bobby Abreu also went deep for the Phillies.
An RBI double by Todd Walker -- who also homered twice -- and Garciaparra's sixth single of the day gave Boston a 5-3 lead in the 13th.
But Bobby Abreu drew a leadoff walk from Jason Shiell in the bottom half and scored on David Bell's one-out double.
Rudy Seanez (0-1) relieved, and Pratt sent a 1-0 pitch over the center-field wall for his first home run since Sept. 1 last season.
Jose Mesa (3-4) got the win despite allowing three runs and five hits in two innings.
Pedro Martinez pitched seven sharp innings and left with a 2-1 lead, but the Boston bullpen had another major meltdown.
Garciaparra finished 6-for-6 with a walk.
White Sox 7, Cubs 6
In Chicago, Mark Buehrle won his second consecutive start following a nine-game losing streak, and his hitting was an unexpected plus for the Chicago White Sox as they beat the crosstown Cubs for a second straight day.
Buehrle (4-10) pitched into the seventh inning and got his first major league RBI as the White Sox jumped to a 7-0 lead and held on.
Billy Koch worked the ninth for his 10th save in 12 chances. He allowed an RBI single to Sammy Sosa, but pinch-runner Tom Goodwin was thrown out trying to steal second and Eric Karros flied out to end it.
Joe Crede had two doubles and a single in his first three at-bats as the White Sox chased Cubs starter Matt Clement (5-7) after 3 1-3 innings, ending his three-game winning streak.
Moises Alou hit a two-run homer for the Cubs.
Dodgers 4, Angels 2
In Los Angeles, Adrian Beltre hit a three-run homer to back a solid outing by Andy Ashby as Los Angeles beat Anaheim for its 10th victory in 11 games.
The pitching-rich Dodgers have won the first two games of the Freeway Series.
Eric Gagne worked the ninth for his major league-leading 29th save and 37th in a row dating to last year. He allowed an RBI single to pinch-hitter Bengie Molina before retiring David Eckstein with two on to end it.
Beltre's first homer since April 30 highlighted a four-run first inning against John Lackey (4-7). The Angels have lost seven of nine.
Ashby (2-4) went 5 1-3 innings and gave up four hits, including Brad Fullmer's ninth homer. Wilson Alvarez threw 2 2-3 scoreless innings to set up Gagne.
Braves 10, Orioles 2
In Atlanta, Javy Lopez hit a pair of three-run homers, Horacio Ramirezd won his fifth straight decision and the Braves routed the Orioles.
Lopez's first homer capped a five-run sixth inning, which wiped out Baltimore's 1-0 lead. The Atlanta catcher hit another in the eighth to put the game out of reach.
Lopez had his fifth two-homer game of the season and matched his career high with six RBIs.
Ramirez (6-2) pitched six-hit ball for seven innings, allowing just one run. The rookie left-hander hasn't lost since April 11, going 5-0 with a 3.46 ERA in his last nine starts.
Brewers 8, Twins 1
In Milwaukee, Wes Helms hit two home runs and drove in five runs, and John Vander Wal homered and had two RBIs as the Brewers beat the Minnesota Twins 8-1.
The Twins have lost five of six on their seven-game road trip.
Helms, who now has 13 home runs, followed Vander Wal's leadoff homer in the fourth with his first home run. He added a three-run shot in the sixth for his first multihomer game this season and third of his career.
Wayne Franklin (3-5) pitched seven innings, allowing one run on five hits and three walks. He struck out two. He worked out of jams in the third and seventh when the Twins had two runners on with one out.
Danny Kolb and John Foster finished the five-hitter.
Expos 8, Blue Jays 5
In Montreal, Orlando Cabrera's three-run homer capped a seven-run eighth inning and Montreal overcame a five-run deficit for a win over Toronto.
Trailing 5-1 in the eighth, Montreal tied it on Jose Macias' RBI grounder off Aquilino Lopez, Endy Chavez's two-run double and pinch hitter Brian Schneider's RBI grounder off Cliff Politte (1-5).
With two outs and runners at second and third, Cabrera connected off Politte for his 11th homer of the season to give Montreal its first lead of the game, setting off the loudest of several prolonged cheers in the inning from the Olympic Stadium crowd of 11,483.
Former NBA player Mark Hendrickson became the first Blue Jays pitcher ever to hit a home run to spark the outburst.
Rockies 9, Tigers 6
In Denver, Preston Wilson hit a three-run homer off Steve Sparks (0-4) in the fifth inning and added a solo shot in the seventh, helping Colorado beat Detroit.
Todd Helton and Juan Uribe also had solo homers for Colorado, which turned four double plays.
Jason Jennings (7-5) won his fourth straight start, going seven innings and allowing 10 hits and three runs. He walked two and struck out seven.
Detroit starter Matt Roney, a former Rockies prospect who pitched 4 1-3 innings of scoreless relief against his former team last Sunday, made his first major league start. He went 3 2-3 innings, allowing four hits and two runs and departing with a 3-2 lead.
Detroit's Warren Morris hit a three-run homer off Jose Jimenez in the ninth to make it 9-6.
Cardinals 8, Royals 1
In St. Louis, Woody Williams bounced back from two subpar starts with eight strong innings, and went 2-for-3 with an RBI double in thes Cardinals' victory over Kansas City.
Albert Pujols homered and drove in four runs and rookie Bo Hart had three hits, making him 7-for-12 in three games since he was brought up from Triple-A Memphis on Thursday.
The Cardinals have won four of five and took a 12-11 lead in the interleague series against their cross-state rivals, who beat them in the 1985 World Series. Joe Randa homered for the Royals.
