Shawn Green hit a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning and Hideo Nomo pitched seven strong innings as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-3 in National League action on Saturday.
The Pirates took an early 3-0 lead but still lost their fourth straight and eighth of the past 11 home games.
Los Angeles has won two straight and four of six.
Nomo (3-3) allowed three runs on five hits with four strikeouts and three walks to get the win. Eric Gagne allowed two hits in the ninth but still finished for his seventh save.
Expos 3, Astros 2 (10 innings)
In Montreal, Jose Macias hit a one-out homer in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Montreal Expos a 3-2 win over the Houston Astros.
It was the fourth time a homer has won a game for the Expos this season, as Montreal won its third straight game. Billy Wagner (1-1) was pitching in his third inning in a game for the first time ins six years and allowed Macias' blast, as Houston has lost four straight.
Reds 7, Padres 6 (10 innings)
In Cincinnati, Ruben Mateo's bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 10th inning gave the Reds a 7-6 win over the San Diego Padres.
San Diego pitchers gave up 13 walks but the Reds stranded 18 base runners in the sloppy affair. Adam Dunn hit a two-run homer and scored three runs for the Reds. Felix Heredia (2-0) pitched a scoreless 10th for the win. Ryan Klesko hit a three-run homer for the Padres while Rondell White added a solo blast.

Ken Harvey's three-run home run in top of the ninth inning snapped a tie and gave the surprising Kansas City Royals a 9-6 win over the Toronto Blue Jays in American League action on Saturday.
Harvey's blast gave the 17-4 Royals their fifth win in six games as the Blue Jays dropped to 9-16 after their two-game winning streak ended.
A crowd of 17,197 was on hand at SkyDome, the largest crowd since opening day. The World Health Organization issued a travel advisory to Toronto because of the outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) three days ago and Major League Baseball advised visiting teams to take precautions, including not signing autographs.
But that did not stop several Blue Jays signing autographs and the fans from cheering Toronto's two-run comeback in the bottom of the eighth.
Athletics 6 Indians 3
In Oakland, Chris Singleton had three hits and an RBI and Matt Ellis drove in a pair of runs to give the Athletics a 6-3 win over the Cleveland Indians.
Chad Bradford (2-2) pitched 1 2/3 shutout innings to get the win after John Halama left after taking a no-hitter into the seventh inning. Keith Foulke tossed a scoreless ninth for his sixth save.
Devil Rays 10 Orioles 7
In St. Petersburg, Aubrey Huff homered and had four hits to lead the Tampa Bay Devil Rays past the Baltimore Orioles 10-7. Rocco Baldelli, Rey Ordonez and Marlon Anderson all drove in two runs for the Devil Rays.
Victor Zambrano (1-2) pitched two shutout innings for the win while Lance Carter's scoreless ninth earned him his fifth save.

Four-time NBA all-star DeMarcus Cousins arrived in Taiwan with his family early yesterday to finish his renewed contract with the Taiwan Beer Leopards in the T1 League.
