Kings 109, Nets 102
Chris Webber had 36 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists to lead the Sacramento Kings to a 109-102 win over the New Jersey Nets in a showdown between two of the NBA's top teams on Tuesday.
Peja Stojakovic scored 26 points for the Kings, while Mike Bibby added 13 points and 10 assists and Vlade Divac and Doug Christie both had 11 points as Sacramento improved to 18-2 at home this season.
The Nets lost by 36 points to the Kings in New Jersey the last time the two teams met, but turned in a much better performance this time despite playing for the second time in as many nights.
Magic 103 Cavaliers 94
In Cleveland, Tracy McGrady scored 35 points and added 11 rebounds to lead the Orlando Magic to a 103-94 win over the hapless Cavaliers.
Pat Garrity added 20 points for the Magic, which spoiled the coaching debut of Keith Smart with Cleveland.
Jeryl Sasser contributed 14 points for Orlando, which was without forwards Grant Hill and Mike Miller, both out with ankle injuries.
