New Jersey took control with an early 12-0 run and went on to beat the Atlanta Hawks 101-94 on Monday, extending the Nets' winning streak to 10 successive games.
Jason Kidd and Lucious Harris each scored 21 points to lead the Nets, who got 17 points each from Richard Jefferson and Kenyon Martin.
Jason Terry scored 27 points for the Hawks, who lost their fifth consecutive game. They have won only twice in their last 13 games.
New Jersey won despite 23 turnovers, including 12 by Kidd. The Hawks had their usual problems with the ball, giving it up 22 times.
The Nets haven't lost since 101-99 setback at New York on Dec. 17. During the winning streak, New Jersey has won by an average of 16.1 points per game.
Pistons 82, Raptors 74
In Auburn Hills, Michigan, Cliff Robinson had season-highs with 25 points and 11 rebounds as Detroit handed Toronto its 11th straight loss.
Detroit has won 10 of its last 13 games.
The Raptors have lost 17 of 19 and seven straight on the road with an injury-plagued lineup. Despite their struggles, Toronto GM Glen Grunwald said before the game he was not contemplating making a coaching change and coach Lenny Wilkens said he was not worried about his job security.
Wizards 100, Celtics 95
In Boston, Michael Jordan converted a three-point play with 32.8 seconds remaining -- his only points of the fourth quarter -- and Jerry Stackhouse scored 37 to lead Washington over Boston.
The win was the Wizards' fourth in succession, their longest winning streak of the season, and helped them improve to .500 (17-17) for the first time since Nov. 22.
Jordan, who also had 11 rebounds, was coming off a season-high 41 points in a victory over Indiana. He had 16 points through three quarters but hadn't scored in the fourth as the teams swapped leads eight times, with two ties.
Pacers, 105, 76ers 104, OT
In Philadelphia, Jermaine O'Neal's one-handed turnaround jumper with 1.6 seconds remaining in overtime lifted Indiana past Philadelphia.
Keith Van Horn attempted a 3-point shot from the top of the circle, but missed at the final buzzer as the Sixers lost their third- straight game.
Allen Iverson scored 32 points and Derrick Coleman, starting his first game this season, had 18 points and 14 rebounds. Coleman's game-tying 3-pointer in the final minute of the fourth quarter sent the game into overtime.
Bucks 106, Cavaliers 94
In Cleveland, Ray Allen scored 13 of his 27 points during a decisive third-quarter run to lead Milwaukee over Cleveland. Allen hit three 3-pointers and scored 16 points in the third quarter.
Ricky Davis scored 22 points to lead Cleveland, which made a season-high 11 3-pointers.
Tim Thomas added 20 points for the Bucks, who had lost four of their previous five games, but improved to 3-0 against Cleveland this season.
Magic 103, Knicks 100
In Orlando, Florida, Tracy McGrady had 14 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter as Orlando stopped a two-game losing streak to beat New York.
The Magic had the ball and a 102-100 lead but were called for a shot-clock violation with 14.5 seconds remaining.
However, New York's Latrell Sprewell missed a jumper from about 6m and Orlando's Mike Miller was fouled, hitting 1-of-2 free throws in the final 2.2 seconds. Sprewell led the Knicks with 28 points.
New York rebounded the second miss but a last-second, full-court desperation heave by Shandon Anderson fell short.
