Penguins 7, Flyers 2

In Pittsburgh, Jan Hrdina scored one goal and set up two others, and Mario Lemieux had four assists as Pittsburgh beat slumping Philadelphia.

Defenseman Dick Tarnstrom added three assists for the Penguins, who won their third consecutive game. Alexei Kovalev and Aleksey Morozov each had a goal and an assist, as the Penguins' top-rated power-play unit produced four goals.

It was the second consecutive blowout loss for the Flyers, who were beaten 6-0 in Toronto on Saturday night. Philadelphia, which has scored only 12 goals while going 1-4-4 in the past nine games, also lost left wing John LeClair to a dislocated right shoulder.

Predators 4, Sharks 2

In Nashville, Tennessee, Andreas Johansson scored three goals, two on the power play, and added an assist to lead Nashville over San Jose for just its third win this season.

Andy Delmore added a power-play goal for the Predators.

Adam Graves and Owen Nolan scored for the Sharks, who finished a season-high, eight-game road trip.

Stars 5, Wild 0

In Dallas, Mike Modano and Ulf Dahlen scored power-play goals as Dallas stayed unbeaten at home in regulation by beating Minnesota.

Marty Turco stopped 18 shots for his fourth shutout of the season and ninth of his career, helping the Stars move to 9-0-0-1 in Dallas this season.

Avalanche 4, Blues 4

In Denver, Mike Keane scored the tying goal in the third period, and Joe Sakic added a goal and two assists as Colorado tied St. Louis.

Vaclav Nedorost and Dan Hinote also scored for the Avalanche, 2-0-1 in their last three games. Patrick Roy stopped 32 shots.

Mighty Ducks 2, Coyotes 2

In Anaheim, California, Brian Savage and Daniel Briere scored in the final 1:33 of regulation to lift Phoenix into a tie with Anaheim.

Shut out by rookie goaltender Martin Gerber through the first two periods and 18:27 of the third, the Coyotes struck twice within 48 seconds to force overtime.
