    Fifteen injured in bridge collapse on Second Freeway

    Taipei's new arts museum to open soon

    Reporters look around the Taipei Contemporary Arts Museum yesterday. The city plans to open the museum in May after five years of renovations to the building, which dates back to 1919. It used to house the Chiencheng Elementary School and has also served as the Taipei City Hall at different times.

    The US Federal Reserve shows it's still got game

    Traders on the floor of the NASDAQ 100 Futures Pit execute a trade on Wednesday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. For the fourth time this year, the US Federal Reserve Bank cut interest rates, dropping half a point off the key interest rate, sending financial markets soaring. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose over 400 points after the move.
