Officials want Taiwan in aviation body

Cabinet Secretary-General Chiou I-jen (邱義仁) said that the congressmen realized that "Taiwan is a great model of democratization for Chinese culture."

The Taiwan group, which also includes Mainland Affairs Council chairman Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文), is in Washington for four days to explain to official Washington the significance of the Taiwan elections.

Tsai will leave for Japan tomorrow, while the rest of the group will leave for Taiwan today.
