Taiwan is arranging for President Chen Shui-bian (³¯¤ô«ó) to make an unofficial visit to Vietnam, a trip which is expected to enrage China.

Chen Che-nan (³¯õ¨k), Deputy Secretary-General to the president, flew to Vietnam on Tuesday to arrange the visit, the Power News quoted a source from the opposition KMT as saying. "Officially, Chen will cut a ribbon at the opening ceremony of the Taiwan Industrial Zone in the Ho Chih Min City on Thursday, but he also carries the task of arranging for President Chen's visit," the source said. "Chen Che-nan will meet with Vienam's transport minister and trade minister.

"Besides discussing trade ties, he will arrange for President Chen's visit," he said.
