A suspect was arrested yesterday in connection with the murder of 21-year-old student Lin Chih-hao (林志浩), whose naked body was discovered on Feb. 6 stuffed into a suitcase, police at the Criminal Investigation Corps of the Taipei Municipal Police Department (台北市刑警大隊) said yesterday.

An autopsy had earlier confirmed that Lin actually died of suffocation. Police also said that Liao pretended that he was sick and checked himself into the Cheng Hsin General Hospital (
Police hinted yesterday that they have collected evidence from a pair of boxer shorts which were covering Lin's face when his body was found. "We have taken a DNA sample from Liao in order to clarify his involvement in the case," police said.
Meanwhile, in the light of Lin's murder, the public has been paying close attention to local S&M Web sites, both for heterosexuals and homosexuals.
Many of the Web sites are set up by university students, where they discuss all their sexual experiences and fantasies.
