Foreign worker caught by police for indecent exposure

An Indonesian worker in Taiwan was handed over to the police yesterday for indecent exposure.

The worker, identified as Hasan, had been working in Taoyuan, northern Taiwan, since arriving in Taiwan. He told police that he had secretly admired a sales girl in the Tonglin Department Store in Taoyuan for some time.

He went to the store to take a look at the girl on Sunday and began masturbating, using his backpack as a cover. His act caught the attention of the sales girl, who informed the police.

Hasan said that he had wanted to get to know the sales girl for a long time but had no chance to make her acquaintance. He admitted that what he had done was foolish, but said he was "unable to help himself."
