While different political forces have been contending over the issue over the last 20 years, the construction of the Fourth Nuclear Power Plant should not be mixed up with the pro-nuclear and anti-nuclear dispute, Lin said.
Lin said the KMT insists that the construction of the new plant should continue, because it is safer than the other three existing plants and will be the last to be built on the island.
