Lung accused of insensitivity

Lin Li-tsai (林黎彩) of Kaohsiung said Lung is not qualified to be cultural [affairs bureau] chief.

"Her ignorance about Taiwanese culture and history has severely hurt our feelings," she said.

Lin, 55, lost her father, who was a journalist and district administrator, at the age of two after he and six others appealed to the then Kaohsiung garrison commander to restrain his troops and prevent them from carrying out wanton killings.
