Taipower's grid structure must change, experts say

While Taipower, under the supervision of the Commission of National Corporations (CNC, 國營會), expressed its willingness to adjust prices if a new policy is drawn up, CNC officials said at the meeting that Taipower's strategies would soon be adjusted dramatically.

"We've had both local and foreign experts study Taipower's two previous outages. A final report from a foreign team will be available in two weeks, which will be an important reference for adjusting policies," said CNC official Huang Jung-tzu (黃榮|?/CHINESE>).
