KMT set to expel Su Nan-cheng

PARTY DISCIPLINE After the Assembly's deputies voted to extend their term despite warnings from KMT headquarters, the speaker is expected to take the fall

"Fortunately, after the punishment of Su, there are still 200 more days until votes are cast. We still have plenty of time to pour oil on this troubled water."

Earlier yesterday, Su continued to rail against any possible punishment from party headquarters.

"Whether I stay in the party or leave, I think I should just let the party decide. But if the party plans to punish me for violating party policy, I will not tolerate it," Su said.

"I am not a deaf mute. I will try to debate [the issue] with them,'' Su added.
