The Apple Daily reports that a robber surnamed Hsu, who only stands 160cm tall, has a prodigious criminal history, and was once given an eight-year long prison sentence for joining a gang and robbing a convenience store, took up his old profession upon his release, as he needed the money. On Jan. 24, armed with a self-modified model gun, he stormed into a convenience store to rob it. Seeing that the 180cm tall shop clerk was mopping the floor, he stepped forward and said “Give me the money.”However, because he was wearing a motorcycle helmet, his voice was muffled, and when the shop clerk, who had not heard what he said, stepped forward and asked “What can I help you with,” the frightened robber shot the clerk in the right leg.
After shooting and injuring the clerk, Hsu made a hurried escape, but was arrested by police on Jan. 29. He later admitted that he thought the clerk would put up a fight, and that he pulled the trigger because he was nervous.

The last time the BoJ raised interest rates was in 2007, but its war against deflation began in earnest in 2013 under then-prime minister Shinzo Abe. “Abenomics” combined generous government spending and central bank monetary easing. The BoJ spent vast amounts on bonds and other assets to pump liquidity into the
Have you ever wished for an extra hour to prepare for exams or finish homework? In some countries, people actually adjust their clocks to gain or lose an hour, all for the sake of Daylight Saving Time (DST).
