A: Sounds like New Year’s resolutions are just something people do to mark the occasion. Most people don’t take them seriously.

B: Yeah. If you’re serious, I suggest setting time limits when you make a resolution.

A:很多人在新的一年都會許下新願望。

B:但研究指出,新願望往往不了了之,半數人在6個月後就放棄了。

A:看來新年許願只是為了應景,大部分人並沒有真的把它當作一回事。

B:是啊,如果認真看待,建議許願時最好加上達成期限。
